Shocked fans were left stunned on the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! after medics were seen rushing to Coleen Rooney’s aid.

The star needed the help of a medic to remove a cockroach stuck in her ear after taking part in a challenge in the Arcade Of Agony during Wednesday’s episode on ITV.

The 38-year-old was tasked with collecting coins from a box of fish guts to operate a grabbing machine which contained balls with tickets inside.

Rooney was battling against her campmates to collect the most tickets, aiming to secure immunity from the next two public eliminations and earn a place in the iconic Celebrity Cyclone trial.

However, at the end of the trial, Rooney appeared from the grabbing booth saying: “I’ve got one in my ear.”

A medic emerged to take a closer look with a syringe before the critter crawled out of her ear.

Co-host Anthony McPartlin exclaimed: “Oh my god, it just jumped out.”

Fans were equally stunned – as Coleen “took it like a champ” and remained remarkably calm.

“Is Coleen pure ignoring a huge cockroach in her ear to crack on with the trial?! My GOD ,” said one fan on X.

“I would not be as calm as Coleen if I had a big in my ear,” said another, and a third gasped: “Does anything phase Coleen? ‘I’ve got something in my ear?’”

More chimed in, adding: “Coleen is so brave I would have freaked out if there was a bug in my ear,” and: “Coleen is a warrior because if a bug had crawled in my ear I’d be on the floor SCREECHING lemme tell ya.”

Danny Jones, GK Barry, Richard Coles and Coleen Rooney were the first to face the Arcade of Agony.

The celebs each had a grabbing machine loaded with balls to win. Every ball they won from the grab machine would contain a number of tickets that they could deposit into the ticket collection box.

Every go on the grab machine required a coin, which they had to retrieve from a box of fish guts. They had 10 minutes to try and win as many tickets as they could.

But some fans felt Coleen’s impressive performance was a “fix” and a setup for her to win.

One fan said: “I love Coleen but I think this is planned for her to get into the final since they paid a lot for her to be there. I wish it was up to the public for the final same as every other year.”

Another added: “Didn’t really pay much attention to rumours of it being fixed until I watched the trial… Coleen managed to get balls every time. Everyone else struggling… Funny when she cost the most to get on the show & how much they have been advertising the new documentary.”
