BBC Strictly fans ‘heartbroken’ as live tour line-up confirmed without two huge stars

The eagerly awaited full line-up for the live tour for 2025 but two big stars are missing from the list. Thos confirmed for the event are , , and , despite all having been eliminated from the contest already.

, and are set to join the touring party however, their fellow semi-finalists and will not be accompanying them.

The announcement of the line-up on social media quickly led to fans expressing their disappointment over the missing duo. One fan lamented, “Oh noooo why is Chris not in the line up? ” Another conveyed their mixed emotions, posting, “Excited for @jbgill and @tashaghouri but absolutely gutted my faves @p_wicks01 and @jowitaprzystal not there.”

A particularly upset fan expressed, “@p_wicks01 @jowitaprzystal why aren’t you at the tour everyone wanted you there so unfair a missed trick definitely so heartbroken and disappointed,” reports .

This news follows last month’s confirmation by the Mirror that Chris would not be involved in the live tour starting January, although he was the odds-on favourite to win the competition. The star, who partners with Dianne Buswell, will be doing his own stand up tour at the time. Meanwhile, MailOnline has reported that Pete also has work commitments.

A spokesman for Chris said: “Everyone has been very straight about this all the way along the line. It’s a great shame, because he’d love to do the tour, but Chris is not available. He said at the point of signing up that he wouldn’t be able to do it, that it wasn’t going to be possible, it was always clear.”

They added, “The lovely thing is no one could have foreseen just how well it was going to go for him on Strictly. No one thought he’d get this far. But having already moved his tour dates once to accommodate the show, he is unable to do it again. His own tour was pre-planned and came first. There’s no way it can be moved for a second time, that just wouldn’t be fair on his fans.”

In a surprising turn of events, neither Pete nor Chris found themselves in jeopardy over the weekend, while Montell was the latest to exit after a dance-off with .
