The passenger’s rude behaviour was not contested on the flight for one key reason (stock)
A plane passenger has lamented a rude fellow traveller’s strange behaviour, which he was not confronted for due to one key reason.
Taking to /X with a photograph of the offending passenger on his , a man was seen to have placed his right arm over the top of his chair in an effort to get comfortable.
Doing so, however, blocked the screen of the passenger behind him. Thousands of users liked and replied to the post, asking why they did not confront the man about his faux pas.
passenger John Kennedy revealed he did nothing about the incident as he found it was far more amusing than anything the in- entertainment could offer him.
Instead, he left the passenger to block his screen and later revealed why in a follow-up post.

He wrote: “Everyone keeps telling me to confront him as if this was an issue for me. It was more entertaining than anything delta offered to watch. ‘Sir can you move your hand I was watching a full episode of Key and Peele’.”
Those who saw the post offere an array of suggestions at how the passenger could get back at the man, from dipping his hand into a cup of coffee to caressing his fingers, the latter of which one person said “works every time.”
Others were more concerned about the angle of the man’s arm, with one writing: “I’ve been starting at this for five minutes and I can’t figure out the angle of this man’s arm.” Another suggested the passenger should have spoken to the man blocking his screen, as he may not have known there is anything wrong.
Don’t miss…
They suggested: “I’d probably just tap on his hand and he’d realize what he’s doing. Even though he’s watching a screen in the back of another chair, he’s probably not even thinking about the one on the back of his own chair.”
Those who had to deal with passengers blocking their screen in the past revealed other solutions which worked, such as pretending to sneeze. One user wrote: “Someone did this to me once and I made a sneezing sound and sprayed water from my loc water bottle on their hand.”
Another agreed, adding: “Make a huge sneezing sound and flick some water on his hand.” A third added: “He’s almost certainly doing it absentmindedly and will stop and apologise profusely if you just told him. It’s really no big deal.”
