Asda has rolled out a fleet of remote-controlled delivery vans to make some special Christmas deliveries. These tiny trucks are a snippet the size of their usual home delivery vehicles which are 10 times larger.
At just 70cm long and 30cm tall, the vans are the dream ride for any garden gnome, boasting just enough space to carry a compact Christmas haul.
Feel like spreading some holiday cheer? People across London, Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds, and Glasgow have until December 5th to themselves to receive complimentary bite-sized festive treats right at their doorstep.
An Asda representative gushed with enthusiasm about the initiative: “We’ve been blown away by the love customers have for our gnomes and our pint-sized Gnome Delivery vans are a really fun way for us to keep spreading that joy this Christmas.”
The nation’s favourite Gnome’s will be making home deliveries next week
These tiny wheeled wonders are part of Asda’s cheeky Christmas campaign, which has grabbed attention and notched over 25 million views on social media platforms.
Highlighted in the campaign, the ‘gnomies’ Max, Gnorma, Gnibbles, Gnarla, and Gnicky swoop in to ensure no Asda staff member is left struggling through the snow and that everything is in order for the festivities.
Now, these pint-sized heroes are taking on a new role piloting the elf-sized delivery vans, set to make tracks to London on Monday, 9th December, Cardiff on Tuesday, 10th, Manchester on the following day, Leeds on the 12th Thursday, and rounding off the week in Glasgow on Friday, 13th December.
An Asda spokesperson commented: “Our Christmas range is all about helping our customers to have their best Christmas ever, and additional touches like these little vans delivering free festive treats are the cherry on top.”
