Flog It! star Michael Baggott left fans worried after sharing a series of videos from his hospital bed on Saturday.
The former antiques expert informed his social media followers that he has been confined to his bed at Good Hope Hospital in Birmingham for five weeks following a stroke.
He left fans deeply worried after sharing his experience in the hospital where he shared the conditions in which he was recovering in.
He added on X: “I’m dying of thirst in a British NHS hospital, and no one seems prepared to do anything about it.
‘I want to say the nursing staff, the junior doctors here, have been the saving grace. They all want to help, but they can’t.

“The senior management and the senior doctors, who I never see, always refuse water and treatment.
“One told me yesterday, If I don’t buck up my ideas, I’ll never be able to walk again in three weeks. Of course, the junior staff told me that was nonsense, but it’s symptomatic of the treatment in this place.
“All the staff are busting their gut to help you; the management and the senior surgeons are not.”
He clarified in the comments that he’s into his “fifth bed-bound week” before adding a new post on Sunday, saying that he feels “happier” and “more hopeful”.

In the video, he said: “Hydration at last, Radio 3 blaring and slightly happier, slightly more hopeful. Thank you for everybody who either came or sent a message. Hopefully, the way back starts now.”
In response to his comments, fans shared their disbelief over his alleged treatment from the hospital.
One said: “Gosh, it’s unbelievable that it could get this bad! Wishing you a very speedy recovery, Michael.”
Another replied: “I hope you feel much better very soon, so sorry to hear you have been so poorly.”

While a fifth added: “‘Michael, I hope you start feeling better soon, don’t give up x.”
Another fan shared: “Michael, I am truly shocked by this; and deeply saddened. As with everyone here, I can only send you my sincerest hopes for your full recovery. Be strong, lad; be strong.”
