GB News presenters Isabel Webster and Ben Leo were joined by royal correspondent Richard Palmer to discuss Princess Kate’s return to royal duties.

The diplomatic red carpet will be rolled out for the Emir of Qatar’s state visit, and the King, Prince, and Princess of Wales will deliver a royal welcome on Tuesday morning.

It comes as Queen Camilla will miss the start of the state visit due to the aftermath of a chest infection.

Isabel questioned if Kate “was out of the woods,” as she expressed concern about the Princess of Wales’s return to public life after undergoing cancer treatment.

She asked, “The Princess of Wales is not fully involved in the whole day. From the details, I see she won’t be attending the state banquet this evening, even though, as you say, the Queen will be there.

“How concerned should we be about the Princess of Wales’s return? It has been very gentle, very slow, at her own pace.

“We know she’s got her Christmas Carol service coming up. Do we think she’s out of the woods?”
