It comes as G after facing allegations of misconduct on the show, something which Gregg has firmly denied.
He said in a statement on : “I have worked with over 4,000 contestants of all different ages, all different backgrounds, all walks of life,” Wallace told his more than 200,000 followers. And apparently now, I’m reading in the paper, there’s been 13 complaints in that time.
“Now, in the newspaper I can see the complaints coming from a handful of middle-class women of a certain age just from Celebrity MasterChef. This isn’t right.
“In over 20 years of television, can you imagine how many women, female contestants on MasterChef, have made sexual remarks or sexual innuendo – can you imagine?”
John has remained tight-lipped in the face of the storm, sparking speculation about his worries concerning personal fallout.
An insider told the Daily Mail that John might be worried over negative associations due to Gregg’s predicament. The source acquainted with the MasterChef turmoil stated: “Gregg and John are not friends, their relationship has been purely professional for a long time but that is looking shaky right now.”

“John is actually much more of a sensitive soul but the fact is that he was present in the studios while MasterChef was being filmed so you have to wonder what he saw, what did he know? John and Gregg filmed together when there has clearly been so much going on.”
“You expect John is absolutely terrified of being dragged into this. The last thing anyone would want is for his brand to be tarnished too, he is seen as the more sensible one who keeps things together while there have been so many whisperings about Gregg.”
Meanwhile, Gregg is said to be not happy with John over his silence over the allegations. A source told The Sun: “Gregg is absolutely furious and is convinced he has done nothing wrong. Seeing John keeping quiet amid all of this has irked him hugely.
“Gregg and John have been colleagues for almost two decades and while they aren’t the closest of friends, Gregg feels John could say something.
“He has deleted them from his account now and unfollowed both of them. It might seem petty from Gregg but he is furious about how this has all played out.”

She further elaborated on a radio show: “They didn’t really communicate or have a connection off screen.”
Adding fuel to the fire, Torode sent shockwaves through the MasterChef fanbase in 2017 by declaring: “It’s funny, we’ve never been friends. We’ve not been to each other’s houses.”
He also disclosed that even while working abroad, the pair avoid socialising, notably keeping away from each other during meal times.
