Kensington Palace has confirmed that Princess Kate will greet the Amir of Qatar when he arrives for a state visit tomorrow.
The Princess of Wales will also attend the Horse Guards at Buckingham Palace and a private lunch with the Amir. She will not, however, attend the State Banquet alongside her husband.
The three royal events will be among the biggest the princess, 42, has taken part in this year following her cancer diagnosis.
Since the end of her chemotherapy in September, the future Queen has had a gradual return to work, which involved the mum-of-three taking part in Remembrance Day events just last month.
She is also set to host her Together At Christmas carol service this week on Friday, with 1,600 people set to attend.
