Strictly Come Dancing revealed the glamorous semi-finals
fans were left up in arms when one couple were booted from the beloved dance competition.
This week on the show, the six remaining couples danced their hearts out on the famous dancefloor for Musicals Week.
The cast embodied some of their favourite characters from the spell-binding shows including Mary Poppins and Glinda the Good Witch.
But viewers were shocked by the results of the public vote on Sunday night, which saw and his partner Jowita Przystal soaring through to the semi-finals.
The former TOWIE dancer failed to impress the judges on the night, receiving the lowest score of the week with a measly 26 points out of a possible 40 after a misstep in their Waltz to Somewhere from West Side Story.
Meanwhile and Aljaz Skorjanec – who frequently top the leaderboard – end up in the dreaded dance off with Olympic athlete and Johannes Radebe.

Tasha Ghouri beat Montell Douglas in the dreaded dance off
The former Love Island star performed the tango to Ex-Wives from the musical SIX which scored her an impressive 38, whereas Montell performed the rumba to I’m Here from The Colour Purple which achieved 32 points out of 40.
Unfortunately, the Olympian struggled to beat the blonde bombshell on the dancefloor and was sadly eliminated from the competition.
It was at this point that fans flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their frustration that the TV star has made it through to next week’s show despite being one of the lowest scoring couples every week.
One user fumed: “Pete scoring 28 and being a semi-finalist is f***ing embarrassing. Montell is as much of a novice as him and far superior. Women, especially black women have to work so much harder on this show. It’s a farce #Strictly.”

Pete Wicks soared through to the semi-final
Meanwhile, another agreed: “People saying they voted for him because ‘he’s what Strictly is about!!’ Strictly is about learning to dance. Montell has achieved so much, but Pete is still tripping over his feet after 11 weeks.”
A third echoed: “I like a journey contestant progressing but he hasn’t He’s still at the level of somebody at week 4. He’s not semi-finalist worthy. Vom at having to sit through two weeks of his s**t dances next week.”
A fourth asked: “I’m sorry but #Strictly is an absolute joke how on earth Pete keeps getting through is absolutely beyond me yet Tasha is in the dance off.”
A fifth fumed: “WHO is voting for Pete man!? He’s a nice guy but this is a dancing show!!! He’s had the lowest score for multiple weeks now! Why are deserving dancers leaving over him?”
However, some viewers have defended the TV personality suggesting his continued presence on the show is because he has won the audience’s affection.
They argued: “Listen I agree, there are better dancers than Pete in there, but it’s not his fault he’s still there. The public clearly like him, they can see he is trying and improving week by week, and that’s kind of what it’s about.”
The reality star will be joining his fellow semi-finalists for another nail-biting week on the competition alongside his co-stars and Vito Coppola, and Dianne Buswell, and Lauren Oakley and and Aljaz Skorjanec.
