A small beautiful in is reportedly desperately looking for residents with as cheap as £33k (40,000 euros). Coripe, less than an hour from Seville is a charming small village located in the Sierra Sur region of Seville, Andalusia, Spain.

Known for its stunning natural beauty and traditional Andalusian culture, Coripe offers a serene retreat surrounded by olive groves, rolling hills, and mountain views.

Home to around 1,200 residents, the pretty village is looking for more people to re-populate the area. Coripe has become part of the Holapueblo initiative, a program spearheaded by IKEA, AlmaNatura, and Redeia, aimed at revitalising rural communities.

A notable example is the Oleícola Coripeña Cooperative, which plays a key role in this sector.

And moving to this place comes with many benefits. Lower , abundance of employement opportunities and cheap housing prices- the village has it all.

The village has no municipal houses on offer, so new residents will have to find homes among private listings.

Town’s mayor, José Godino Romero emphasises that the village will promote entrepreneurial initiatives, which he believes is the perfect environment to develop a professional project remotely since there is a co-working space in town, reports .

The village has its own charm with its festivals, agro economy and rural food.

It celebrates its local festivals with fervor, including the famous Domingo de Resurrección (Easter Sunday), known for its unique tradition of burning effigies.
