The two ingredients form a thick paste
Start by mixing one part white vinegar with one part warm water in a spray bottle. Lightly spray the solution over your shower door, ensuring all the glass is covered. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes to work its magic.
Meanwhile, create a paste by mixing two tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda with just enough water to form a thick, spreadable consistency.
With a soft sponge, use the paste to gently scrub the glass in circular motions. The natural fizzing reaction between the vinegar residue and the bicarbonate will lift away stubborn deposits, leaving your shower door clearer than ever.
After scrubbing, rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove any residue. To finish, wipe the glass dry with a microfiber cloth or squeegee. For added shine, buff with a dry, lint-free cloth.
“The beauty of this method is in its simplicity,” notes Funeral Guide.
“It’s effective, environmentally friendly, and saves you from harsh chemicals found in many commercial products.”
