Getting a projector can save a lot of space
Black Friday weekend is here and as a shopping writer, I’ve seized the opportunity to get a projector to make my rental place more homely. Instead of getting a traditional TV which takes up a place, I opted for a laser projector instead – and it’s perfect for many London homes.
When Amazon dropped early Black Friday deals, I spotted this that features 1200 ISO Lumens and built-in Google TV on offer and it’s dropped from £899 to £649, that’s a £250 saving and I think this projector is much better than fancy OLED screens.
The Dangbei Atom is about the size of an Apple TV, it’s compact and sleek and it can b. And mind you, a 98″ Samsung TV is retailing at £3,299 and this Dangbei projector is cheaper and I think it has more to offer.
Don’t miss…
The bright 1200 ISO lumens is one of the game-changing features, because it allows you to enjoy pristine 1080p HD images without spots or colour casts; and to be able to.
The little black box is easy to set up, simply plug in the cables and turn it on. However, the pack doesn’t include a projector stand, I understand that it’s not a must-have but it would be great if customers were given the option to use it and set it up somewhere other than on a desk or coffee table.
You can buy a on Amazon but that’s another £99, I have a similar stand at home and it works fine to support the projector.
There’s no need to manually turn the lens to focus, the Dangbei Atom is equipped with functions like autofocus, keystone correction, image adjustment and obstacle avoidance ensure a clear, rectangular and perfect image – all in a matter of seconds.

Don’t miss…
Before getting the Dangbei Atom, I had a £40 second-hand projector that runs like a fan, it’s noisy and the cable connection was bad.
If space is a concern in your house, then this Dangbei Atom would be perfect. I put it away under my coffee table when it’s not in use and it only weighs 1.28kg. It’s been a bliss since I got it this week and it’s .
This is another great option but it’s chunkier and more expensive. Also on Black Friday deal, it’s reduced from £1,299.99 to £999.99.
takes away the necessity of a stand, it can project onto the wall at a short distance. This one is on 43% off, down from £2,999 to £1,699. Argos also stocks a number of home cinema projectors, like the priced at £329.99.
