fans have voiced their concerns that Olympian Montell Douglas has been given the “kiss of death” after the line-up for musicals week was revealed.

Ahead of the live performances on Saturday the reveal the order the contestants will perform as well as the type of dance and song choice.

This week, Montell and her professional partner Johannes Radebe will open the show with a Rumba to I’m Here from The Color Purple.

They will be followed by and Vito Coppola’s Charleston to Popular from Wicked, and Aljaz Skorjanec’s Argentine Tango to Ex-Wives from SIX and and Dianne Buswell’s Quickstep to You’re the Top from Anything Goes.

The penultimate performance will come from and Lauren Oakey with a Viennese Waltz to Let’s Go Fly A Kite from Mary Poppins.

and Jowita Przystal will close the show with a Waltz to Somewhere from West Side Story.

After the line-up was revealed, fans flocked online to express concern for Montell and Johannes.

One user wrote on : “I fear Montell has received the kiss of death.”

A second echoed: “Worried for Montell with a Rumba this late in the series and her being in the bottom two so many times.

A third pleaded: “Montell supporters need to unite around her now.”

While a fourth lamented: “Montell and Rumba. My heart dropped omg this was not the week to get that. First time I’m not looking forward to musicals week I fear.”

And a fifth said: “A Rumba and up first… She can win a dance off against Pete and maybe JB but not sure about any of the others.”

Montell and Johannes were saved from elimination after ending up in the dance off for a third time.

They competed against star and Michelle Tsiakkas and were .

Speaking after his elimination, Jamie said: “Not just everyone who you see in front of the camera, these four here (the judges), but everyone who works on this show, I have such a good bond and relationship with and that’s what made me want to do this show, it’s the people, not what I’m doing. I’ve had the best time.”

The actor, who was the first celebrity partner for Tsiakkas on the show, praised her as being the “most amazing teacher”.

“We have laughed like you wouldn’t believe. I have nothing but the utmost respect for everyone on the show, so thank you,” he added.

Michelle returned the sentiment, saying: “I waited two years for a partner and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.”
