Liverpool ace Andy Robertson told Jamie Carragher he’s received ‘stick’ from the players
defender taunted in a live TV interview by revealing the Reds hero has received ‘stick’ from players in the dressing room.
Carragher has faced a backlash from furious Reds fans after he branded “selfish” for publicly addressing his contract stand-off with the club.
According to Robertson, it appears ‘s squad have now joined the growing list of dissenting voices.
The 46-year-old was in the CBS Sports studio as part of their coverage for ‘s 2-0 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League.
After the game, presenter Kate Abdo interviewed Robertson and quizzed the left-back on how the players viewed Carragher’s opinions in the dressing room.
The Scot smiled and replied: “He’s been getting a bit of stick in the changing room this week!”
Asked if he’s been getting stick because of his opinion on Salah, the defender added: “No comment”, prompting laughter from Carragher and his colleagues Thierry Henry and Micah Richards.

Richards then chimed in asking if the Reds mouthpiece sometimes oversteps the mark with his comments, to which Robertson replied: “No, I think he gets paid to do his job and I think all he’s doing, it’s part and parcel of football.
“He has to give his opinion, whether we agree with it or not sometimes is a different story!”
It came after Salah spoke to the media in a rare interview following their 3-2 win over Southampton, where the 32-year-old claimed he is more likely to leave than stay as the club haven’t offered an extension to his deal.
“We are almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club,” Salah said. “I’m probably more out than in.”
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah spoke publicly about his contract situation
Carragher couldn’t hide his disappointment with the Egyptian’s comments and accused him of distracting the club in the most important week of their season.
“So the reason wouldn’t have offered a contract yet is because Mo Salah will turn it down. So they’re still in talks – I’m desperate for them to meet in the middle,” Carragher said on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.
He added: “If he keeps putting comments out, his agent puts out cryptic messages, that is selfish. That is thinking about themselves and not the football club.”
“But I must say I am very disappointed with Salah. That interview yesterday, have got Real Madrid midweek and they’ve got at the weekend. That’s the story for right now.”
