Another important element is how much you water your peace lily houseplant; watering is only needed when the first two to three inches of the soil feels dry.

“Hold off on watering until she starts to droop a little,” the expert recommended. “This is a good indication that she is ready for a drink.”

The expert added: “Avoid letting your plant sit in any excess water for a long period of time.”
