Their woes were compounded in the latest edition of It Takes Two when host Janette Manrara dealt Michelle a fresh blow regarding her fate in the professional dancers’ contest.

In this year’s face-off, the Strictly pros strove to set records for most Cha Cha Cha time steps executed within 30 seconds. During her couch time with Janette alongside fellow pro Katya Jones, Michelle discovered her performance outcome in the task.

However, Janette delivered sombre news while announcing the scores; she pointed out that Michelle scored 11 cha cha chas, yet owing to a technicality with her footwork, none were acknowledged. Devastated by her score’s invalidation, Michelle couldn’t hide her dismay, uttering: “I’m heartbroken.”
