An expert believes Royal Family life was the wrong fit for Meghan
Another royal expert believed had “always planned to leave” the Firm. Speaking to , Phil Dampier said: “To be honest, I don’t think she ever intended to stay in the Royal Family.”
He added: “Unfortunately, I think she was prepared to have a , but I don’t think her heart was ever really in it, and I think she always planned to leave, so the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and that’s what we’re seeing now.”
The royal expert believed ‘s current engagements are mirroring his previous duties as a royal, something he stepped away from in 2020, but it won’t lead to a return to the Firm.Referring to ‘Megxit’ he said: “He wanted to have his cake and eat it. He wanted to be half in and half out of the Royal Family.”

Meghan made a solo appearance to support LA Children’s Hospital
It comes as next week, as the couple remain focused on promoting their new dynamic. The Duke of Sussex will head to New York to attend The New York Times DealBook Conference on Wednesday, December 4. Harry’s New York appearance follows in his wife’s footsteps, as Meghan previously participated in the DealBook Conference in November 2021.
On the same day, the Duchess of Sussex will step out on the opposite side of the coast, in Los Angeles, to attend the 2024 Paley Honors Fall Gala.
In New York, the duke will join in the conversation with Andrew Ross Sorkin, while Meghan will award American actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry with The Paley Center’s highest accolade – The Paley Honors Award.
Harry and Meghan’s separate outings are in line with the couple’s apparent and interests individually rather than jointly.
