fans were left in stitches after Maura Higgins was left disappointed with her jungle treats after trial chaos.
During Tuesday’s visit (November 26) to the camp, viewers tuned in for another gruelling group challenge, aptly named Fright bus.
All 12 celebrities were tasked with sitting on a broken down bus which was filled with creepy crawlies including frogs, spiders and cockroaches.
Each row of celebs was tasked with unscrewing a code as bugs rained down on them before they were able to grab a rucksack and leave the vehicle.
At the end of the task, the group returned to camp where they shared their goodies around the campfire. While Coleen was treated to a bag of raisins and a blue Haywain T-shirt and Oti Mabuse being gifted a She-Wee and a Strictly gown.

However, Maura was less than impressed when she discovered an apple in her bag. She fumed: “Ohhh no! What treats did you get? Skittles, Cheesy Wotsits. I got an apple! I couldn’t give a continental f**k about an apple. Best birthday ever.”
Disappointed with her gifts, she added: “I got an apple. I’ll say that again, an apple. What did I do to deserve this? It’s my birthday.” It didn’t take long before fans flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to giggle at her misfortune online.
One user chuckled: “The producers putting Maura through hell and then giving her an apple on her birthday I can’t even cope #imacelebrity.” Another added: “Maura fumed after getting an apple on her bitrhday while someone else has wotsits #imaceleb #imacelebrity.”
A third echoed: “Maura gets an apple as a treat. I kinda love that the producers are f***ing with Maura tbh [cry-laughing emoji] #imaceleb #ImACelebrity.”

Later on in the show, the Irish beauty took part in tonight’s Bushtucker trial titled Fright at the End of the Tunnel with Loose Women star Jane Moore.
The pair were tasked with splitting up and going through an obstacle course – one above ground and one below ground – both littered with crabs, eels, spiders, and snakes.
Thankfully, the pair managed to collect six stars as fans praised the TV personality for overcoming her fears on the show. One user penned: “Maura was a hearo in that trial. Jane acting the hero. Maura gave 150% and Jane gave 30% max #imaceleb #imacelebrity.”
