Davina McCall’s representative has denied she plans to marry long-term partner Michael Douglas after undergoing brain surgery.
The 57-year-old continues to recover after the operation to remove a benign tumour. And while has been resting following the procedure, hairstylist Michael, 49, has been keeping fans updated with her progress.
Insiders claimed Davina had planned to marry Michael after he went “above and beyond” during her recovery. However, representatives for the star have this morning denied the claims to Reach PLC.
Speaking to Closer magazine, a source said: “It’s been a life changing couple of days for Davina. She now wants to do everything on her bucket list and more. First off, yes, she’ll marry Michael.

“There have been a lot of tears, but Michael has been a pillar of strength – taking charge of the kids and looking after Davina as she recovers. It has made her think that marriage could be on the cards.”
Another source told Heat magazine: “This is her second chance and pals wouldn’t be surprised if she married Michael very soon. But right now, her top priority is her recovery.”
Davina and Michael met when he was her stylist during her time on Big Brother. The TV presenter was married to ex-husband Matthew Robertson at the time.
The presenter shares children Holly, 23, Tilly, 21, and 18-year-old Chester with Matthew. She was friends with Michael until 2019, when the pair started their relationship, two years after Davina split from her ex-husband.

It was a major life moment that prompted Davina to know her marriage was ending, reports Closer. After the death of her sister Caroline in 2012, Davina said she realised she was living a “completely separate” life to Matthew.
Davina recently praised Michael on for being the “best boyfriend ever”. In a touching update following her surgery, she said: “Hey!!! … thank you . For the messages . It’s meant the world . Just want to thank @mdlondon, who gets the best boyfriend ever award. Voted for by me and everyone that knows us.”
She added: “I am feeling much better. Had a great night’s sleep in my own bed.
“Have a couple of sleeps during the day which keeps my brain clear… slowly slowly… huge gratitude, and love for the world and my life and the beautiful people in it.”
