and are set to spend their first Christmas apart and judging by previous chaos, it may be for the best.

The GB News host previously learned a valuable lesson when he took Ruth’s claim about not wanting a present for Christmas, a little too literally.

After he presented his now-estranged wife with an envelope of money, however, he soon had his Christmas dinner down his chest.

Ruth has also previously relayed the story during a segment about faking a reaction to gifts on Loose Women.

While she said Eamonn was usually a good gift buyer, he had been in her bad books.

In unearthed quotes published in the latest issue of Best Magazine, she said: “He bought me nothing, literally nothing! The dinner went down his chest!”.

Eamonn and Ruth announced they had split after 14 years of marriage back in May.

He has since found love with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander, while Ruth is believed to be single.

According to a source, the Loose Women star is “dreading” her first Christmas without Eamonn in many years.

They told OK! Magazine: “Ruth is dreading Christmas coming up, because it will be her first one apart from Eamonn – who could be spending it with his new partner.

“This Christmas means creating different memories.

“Ruth and Eammon are positively co-parenting Jack, but he’s at the age where he might want to do something different at Christmas, and that’s worrying Ruth.”
