After facing six consecutive Bushtucker trials on I’m A Celebrity, Dean McCullough can breathe a sigh of relief and take a well-earned break, and it looks like fans are relieved too.
At the end of Monday night’s episode, Ant and Dec told the campers that it would be the almighty duo of Maura Higgins and Jane Moore that would be taking on ‘Fright at the end of the tunnel’.
Viewers at home took to to share their relief over not having to see Dean do another trial and that other campmates were being given a chance to bring home the bacon.
One person expressed: “Do I need a new set of glasses or is Dean finally getting a break???” Another fan penned: “Thank God it isn’t Dean this time,” while somebody else commented: “Finally not Dean!”
Yet another said: “Thank you UK for giving Dean a break,” while a fifth added: “About b****y time! Nice to see someone else doing trials… good luck to these two. They’ll be amazing, I’m sure.”

Viewers were relieved over the Bushtucker trial result
Meanwhile, others expressed their excitement for the formidable duo of Maura and Jane as somebody gushed: “Love Maura, hope she and Jane smashes it, it’s a tough one.”
Someone agreed: “I voted for these two, Jane showing us that she really wants to do a trial and Maura showing that she was really nervous tonight and saying she’s scared of bugs.”
In last night’s episode, Dean took on his sixth trial and managed to get his personal best with ten stars out of twelve. He took part in ‘Jack and the Scream Stalk’ and was forced to ascend a castle rock climbing frame and put his hand inside 12 different compartments.
Despite the boxes being filled with all sorts of critters, the Radio 1 DJ overcame his fears and produced his best performance yet. The night before he and Coleen Rooney managed to get eight stars in the trial, which was much better than his previous stints.

In his first two trials, Dean shouted out the dreaded “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!” and exited the challenges because his fears took over.
It wasn’t just the viewers that were getting tired of his antics, as even host Ant McPartlin had to have a word with him about his performances.
Thankfully fans will get to see some new faces take on tonight’s trial and hopefully bring home the full set of stars.
