‘I was on I’m A Celeb and I already know who will take the crown’

Gillian McKeith was one of the most memorable stars to take part in having appeared in the show on two separate occasions.

The on-screen star took part in 2010 and returned to the show in 2023 for I’m A Celebrity All Stars when she snuck spices into camp in her knickers.

The nutritionist and author, who became a household name after hosting the Channel 4 show You Are What You Eat from 2004 to 2006, has shared her thoughts on which celebrity will be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.

This year, the presenter has been watching the 24th series and has already picked her show winner.

In her column for Express.co.uk, Gillian has already set her sights on Maura Higgins to take the win.

However, four other contestants could potentially trump Maura.

She told us, “There’s something about Danny. I still think Danny will make it to the final. He is such a sweetie. He is a good sport, especially helping out Dean (aka living the ‘Gillian McKeith’ experience of being voted for every trial).

“But there are other contenders clipping at Danny’s heels, namely Wagatha Christie Coleen, who is the quintessential girl next door, sleuth extraordinaire, no airs and graces, totally down to earth and potential winner.

Coleen should be hired by MI5. Her detective skills are on high alert. She clocked that there was something fishy going on at Junkyard. Talk about being rumbled in the jungle. She was onto them pretty quickly. Maura’s fresh smelling hair did not help the situation.”

Gillian went on: “GK Barry too as she is coming across really well. She is likeable and funny.

“Keep an eye on Maura who has already proven herself in the dastardly eating trial. I think she could go all the way too.

But would it not be the most amazing thing ever if Dean somehow overcame all his fears and stormed to the finish line.”
