World Darts Championship draw confirmed as Luke Littler and Luke Humphries learn fate

Luke Littler could start his World Darts Championship campaign with a mouth-watering second-round clash with Fallon Sherrock after the draw was completed on Monday evening. Reigning world champion Luke Humphries – who toppled Littler in last year’s final at Alexandra Palace – faces a meeting with Thibault Tricole or Joe Comito.

Littler will share the oche with Sherrock – who became the first female player to win a World Darts Championship match in 2019 – if the Queen of the Palace beats Ryan Meikle in the first round.

The first round, which commences on December 15, will feature 32 ProTour Order of Merit Qualifiers playing one of the International Qualifiers.

The top 32 players on the PDC Order of Merit have received byes to the second round, and Monday’s draw lined up their first opponents.
