has always had a strict no-makeup policy for its stars, but this year viewers have been left scratching their heads as to whether the rule has been relaxed or if some of the more image-conscious campmates are flouting it.
Stars of the 2024 show such as Tulisa, Jane Moore and all seem to be sporting a significant amount of makeup on their brows, lips and eyes, leading viewers to question if they’ve smuggled products into their backpacks.
“Why isn’t Tulisa and Jane’s make-up coming off?” one viewer queried, while another asked: “Sorry, but how have Tulisa and Jane still got make-up on?”
The answer is that the stars aren’t applying makeup in the jungle, but they have indeed found a clever workaround to the beauty ban in semi-permanent makeup.
This isn’t the first time I’m a Celeb stars have opted for pre-jungle tattoo transformations to ensure they look made-up on screen, but with at least three of this year’s campmates sporting various forms of semi-permanent make-up, it certainly seems to have become a trend. So, what tattoo treatments have the stars had?

Tulisa Contostavlos
Before jetting off to Australia, Tulisa took to to update her followers on her jungle-ready beauty treatments. She revealed: “I tatted the lips to match the brows, couldn’t help myself!”
Tulisa appears to have started the first few weeks of the show with a full set of eyelash extensions. However, as these typically need infills every 2-3 weeks, her eyes may look less dramatic as the show progresses, reports .
Jane Moore
Jane hasn’t posted about any beauty treatments she’s had before entering the jungle on her social media, but it’s likely that beauty experts would agree that her defined eyes and eyebrows are due to semi-permanent makeup.

It’s probable that she’s had her upper and lower eyelids enhanced with tattoo eyeliner, and her brows darkened with microblading, and she might also have had a brow tint just before leaving.
Coleen Rooney
Coleen looks glowing and natural, but it’s clear her brows have been shaped and tinted with the help of microblading or micro shading. Like Jane, Coleen didn’t post any beauty updates on her page before leaving for her stint on the ITV show, but we know from previous posts that microblading is a treatment she’s used in the past.
Semi-permanent makeup artist Liz Clough posted a photo of Coleen last August captioned: “Brow top-up today for Coleen”, and shared her impressive before and after photos.
