While locals worked hard to keep the overflowing water at bay, the tractor’s wheels sent large waves out to the side, causing tidal water waves to go above shop windows.
As the driver hurtles down the centre, it appears to hit something, and the tractor jolts, much to the shock of onlookers.
Furious locals have expressed their anger and disappointment at the viral video online.

Among the outcry one social media user who shared the footage said: “Sends a 6ft bow wave through Tenbury shop windows. Locals understandably livid!”
“The scenes from Tenbury Wells are shocking and to read someone driving a tractor at speed through the flood water and causing more damage is unbelievable”, said a local resident.
Another on social media said: “We all managed to keep the water out of the shops etc, he’s driven through, smashed all the windows and doors and bankrupted Tenbury.”
“Awful scenes made much worse by this one tractor driver which does not represent so many amazing farmers out there working so hard and doing amazing things for communities”, expressed one resident.
The resident continued: “This chap should have the full book thrown at him for this and people who have been affected should definitely make claims against him for extra damages that could have been easily avoided had he not been so idiotic.

It is unknown why the tractor was driving through the flooded high street.
West Mercia Police say they are aware of “videos circulating on social media showing a tractor driving through flood water in Tenbury Wells yesterday”.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We’re actively investigating the incident and officers are in Tenbury Wells this morning speaking to people whose businesses and properties may have been affected, as well as reviewing additional video footage. No arrests have been made at this time.
“We will provide further updates when we are able to.”
Tenbury Wells flooded after the Kyre Brook rose up and damaged flood defences, with dramatic footage showing the water streaming into the town centre.
Rescue workers shouted for people to get back as the floods arrived in the market town. There were no reports of any injuries in the town.
