Robbie Williams has issued a heartbreaking five-word update about his relationship with Gary Barlow
Robbie Williams has said his and Gary Barlow’s relationship will never be completely the same even though their feud is now behind them.
The former Take That member, 50, has spoken about the rollercoaster of his relationship with Barlow, 53, over the past 30 years since they skyrocketed to fame in the 1990s.
said that whilst Barlow loves him and he loves Barlow in return that “there’ll always be a scar” from the time when they didn’t see eye to eye.
Robbie famously left Take That in the mid-1990s just months before the band broke up and went onto forge a successful solo career made him one of the most popular artists of the late-1990s and early-2000s.

As time has passed, however, wounds have healed with rejoining and Take That reforming in 2010 after a 15-year gap.
Speaking about their relationship on the documentary Boybands Forever, Robbie said: “He phoned me up. We’re mates now and I love him, and our relationship is 95% healed. There’ll always be a scar, but he loves me. I love him.”
The admission precedes the release of a biopic about Robbie Williams. The film, known as Better Man, will see Robbie portrayed as a CGI monkey, a concept he supported after early conversations reported Hello!
Director Michael Gracey said of the move: “I think we’re very cinematically numb to seeing human suffering, but when we see an animal hurting, there is something very uncomfortable about that.”

Alongside releasing a biopic and featuring in a documentary about life in a boyband in the 1990s, Robbie has also been candid about his relationship with wife Ayda who in turn has been frank about him.
, they have both openly discussed their subsequent trials and tribulations in the 14 years since with Ayda saying they broke up three times before getting married.
Discussing their history on their joint podcast At Home with the Willamses Ayda talked to Robbie about his history addiction and how they go through it.
She said: “You were in a dark place and did some dark things. Obviously, my heart was broken many times, but we got over it. It wasn’t just finishing with me three times, it was more that when you finished with me you didn’t tell me you were finishing with me, you just disappeared and then delivered my stuff in garbage bags.”
