The scene at Westminster Bridge
Hundreds of police have flooded Westminster and Westminster Bridge has been closed in both directions.
Pictures shared from the scene appear to show at least four police cars and three Transport for London ‘Incident Response’ vans packed onto and either side of the bridge in central London.
Early reports from the scene suggest ‘hundreds’ of police are there and that a cordon has been put in place.
