A pensioner who was given a ridiculous quote for a simple garden tidy-up job ended up getting her outdoor space completely transformed – and for free.
It can be tricky for people of a certain age to keep on top of all the jobs needed to maintain a pristine .
And with the price of pretty much everything rising across the board in the UK, getting a professional in to sort them out can be very .
This is exactly the situation that a 76-year-old woman in Manchester was faced with recently.
According to the man behind the account on , she was quoted a staggering £2,500 to have her lawn mown and plants trimmed back.

And that’s exactly what he did in this instance. His recent video first showcases what the pensioner’s garden looked like when he arrived, with grass growing several feet high and right across her path.
He took his trusty strimmer to the entire lawn, carefully ensuring it was all even and trimmed. The garden looked completely different by the end of his video.
The footage has been viewed more than 13,000 times, and people were quick to thank Garden Yardz Mowing for his continued kindness.
One said: “You have a heart of gold.” Another said: “Well done I salute you.” And a third, stunned by the original quote, said: “The person who quoted that amount should take a long, hard look at themselves.”
