“I’m closing in on a billion now,” he boasted to the Irish Mirror in 2023. “I think I’m at about $650m (£520m) all in I’ve made. I think they (Forbes) estimate that. I’d have to probably do my own little check of that. But I fancy my chances, I fancy my chances of getting up that list.”

In 2020, McGregor proposed to Devlin just before her 33rd birthday, although the couple has yet to tie the knot. They have since had two more sons, Rian, born in 2021, and Mack, born last year.

As for a potential return to the UFC, McGregor has long hinted at a comeback following the leg injury he sustained in his last bout against Dustin Poirier in 2021. A fight against Michael Chandler was in the works last year, but with that collapsing, it remains to be seen whether McGregor will ultimately return to the Octagon.
He has since voiced his frustration to the UFC about their inability to find him an opponent. Yet, UFC president Dana White remains optimistic about his return, stating on the Outta Pocket podcast: “He’s fighting with everybody right now, but he’s not fighting anybody right now. I’ve said this a lot.
“Conor has gotten into a position where he’s made so much money, and he has all these businesses that continue to make him a lot of money.
“It’s tough to get up and fight when you’re in the position that he’s in. I do believe that Conor McGregor will fight in ’25. There is no fight made or a date set or any of that.”
