Conor McGregor, one of the ‘s biggest names, has been found liable for in a Dublin hotel six years ago. The ex-featherweight and lightweight champion has been ordered to pay £200,000 in damages to Miss Nikita Hand, who accused the Irish fighter of rape.
McGregor, who enjoys the high life with partner Dee Devlin and their four kids, burst into the limelight of mixed martial arts back in 2013, turning professional five years before that.
Now, 11 years since his entry, McGregor is one of the richest and most distinguished figures in fighting despite having last fought inside the octagon in 2021. Though McGregor’s precise net worth remains undisclosed, the fighter himself has revealed that his fortune could soon close in on the £1billion mark.
“I’m closing in on a billion now,” he boasted to the Irish Mirror in 2023. “I think I’m at about $650m (£520m) all in I’ve made. I think they (Forbes) estimate that. I’d have to probably do my own little check of that. But I fancy my chances, I fancy my chances of getting up that list.”
Meanwhile, Celebrity Net Worth puts his riches closer to £160million. His battle with Mayweather contributed over £100m just by itself, alongside diverse entrepreneurial pursuits supplementing his fighting earnings.

Business
One of the Irishman’s most notable ventures is his Proper 12 Whiskey brand, which was his primary focus until its sale in 2021 for a reported £400m, with McGregor himself pocketing a substantial share of the total.
In addition to this, McGregor launched his Forged Irish Stout last year, boldly declaring at the launch: “We’re not here to take part, we’re here to take over.”
McGregor also holds endorsement deals with several major brands, reportedly including Beats by Dre, Monster Energy, Reebok, and Bud Light.

Dee Devlin
McGregor met his partner Devlin 15 years ago, and the two have been together ever since. Their first child, Conor Jr., was born in 2017, just before McGregor’s high-profile bout against Mayweather. Two years later, they welcomed their second child, a daughter named Croia.
In 2020, McGregor proposed to Devlin just before her 33rd birthday, although the couple has yet to tie the knot. They have since had two more sons, Rian, born in 2021, and Mack, born last year.
After Mack’s birth, McGregor took to to express his admiration for Devlin, saying: “Another chunky healthy boy into the world. Dee, you are my hero.”

Fighting return
As for a potential return to the UFC, McGregor has long hinted at a comeback following the leg injury he sustained in his last bout against Dustin Poirier in 2021. A fight against Michael Chandler was in the works last year, but with that collapsing, it remains to be seen whether McGregor will ultimately return to the Octagon.
He has since voiced his frustration to the UFC about their inability to find him an opponent. Yet, UFC president Dana White remains optimistic about his return, stating on the Outta Pocket podcast: “He’s fighting with everybody right now, but he’s not fighting anybody right now. I’ve said this a lot.
“Conor has gotten into a position where he’s made so much money, and he has all these businesses that continue to make him a lot of money.
“It’s tough to get up and fight when you’re in the position that he’s in. I do believe that Conor McGregor will fight in ’25. There is no fight made or a date set or any of that.”
