However, it appears that Louis is just like plenty of other children across the world as his cheeky behaviour also takes place behind closed doors away from the cameras.

One Strictly judge confirmed this when she spoke about the time the prince, his sister Princess Charlotte, nine, and their mum Princess Kate, 42, last year.

As well as meeting the show judges, dancers and hosts, the children were also given the opportunity to sit in the judges’ seats.

Before they left the studio, the siblings – who are reportedly big fans of the show – were then given some gifts.

However, it appears the young prince was not the biggest fan of what he received, and instead expressed how he wanted Princess Charlotte’s present instead.

, head strictly fudge Shirley Ballas said: “They [Charlotte and Louis] are beautiful.

“When they visited we had these crowns on set, so I thought it would be a nice idea to give the little girl a crown and I got him a nice box of sweets.

“Then he went, ‘I want one of those,’ and pointed at the crown. So we had to go and find him a little crown!”

Despite the cheeky remark, the judge said both the children were “beautifully polite” and had “an absolute ball”.

Host Tess Daley told : “Camilla is a fan, she has been to visit us in the studio before and she spent half a day with us and it was wonderful, she was absolutely part of the whole process during the dress rehearsals, at the judge’s desk, handling the panels and she really enjoyed her day.

“It’s a huge compliment that her and Charles are fans of the show. She’s told me they watch together.”
