The end of the year is usually the time when there’s an increased interest in which members of the Royal Family have carried out throughout the year.
The past year has been a challenging one for the royals who faced a series of health woes, including King Charles and the Princess of Wales’s cancer diagnoses, Princess Anne’s head injury and Queen Camilla’s chest infection.
Express.co.uk asked readers about who they think is the hardest member of the Firm. The poll ran from 12pm on November 20 to 9am on November 21.
It was a landslide victory for Princess Anne – who is 17th in line to the throne – as out of the 352 who answered in total, more than seven in 10 (73%) voted her as the hardest-working royal.

King Charles came in second with 23 votes, and third with 20.
However, it was Duchess Sophie who came in fourth beating Princess Kate by 3%.
Sophie received 17 (5%) votes in total, whereas Kate got eight votes (2%).
Queen Camilla was ranked sixth, with only 5 people voting in her favour (1%).
It comes after a recent study crowned the Princess Royal , as she has carried out a total of 217 engagements so far in 2024.

Princess Anne was crowned the hardest working royal
Anne saw a 2.4% increase in her engagements this year, as last year, she carried out a total of 212, according to the latest research by SEO agency Reboot Online. The agency utilised the Royal Court Circular to get the number of engagements by each senior working member of the Royal Family between January 1 and December 31 2024.
November was Anne’s busiest month, with an impressive 28 engagements taking place.
King Charles came second with 186 engagements in total, despite his illness and the Duke of Gloucester, Prince Richard, came in third place with 126 royal engagements in 2024, a whopping 11.5% increase from 2023, when he carried out 113.
