got a bit too much for one star who was left quipping “I’m done”.
The ITV show returned to screens on Wednesday (November 20) with Ant and Dec back at the helm, to check in on the latest batch of famous faces in the Aussie jungle.
For this year’s series, celebs like Tulisa, Oti Mabuse, Jane Moore, Danny Jones, and Dean McCullough have signed up to rough it up for a few weeks. Coleen Rooney, GK Barry and Melvin Odoom have also joined them, in a bid to be crowned the King or Queen of the Jungle.
And during the latest instalment, it was time for Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough and podcaster GK Barry to take on their second trial, Drown in the Dumps.
Before leaving, fellow campmate Melvin Odoom shared his confidence and revealed: “They’re gonna come back with 10 stars, guaranteed!” As GK and Dean headed down to the Bushtucker Trial area, GK said: “Let’s give it large!”

Arriving at the Trial clearing, GK and Dean were greeted by two tanks placed on top of one another. Hosts Ant and Dec revealed one of them had to be positioned at the top, whilst the other went to the bottom.
The person in the top section (decided to be Dean) had to feel in the hell holes to find keys, with gold tags attached. They then had to drop in the pipe down to the person in the bottom (GK), who should use the keys to unlock the 10 available stars for camp. There were also silver keys available, which didn’t unlock anything.
While the Trial was ongoing, water flowed through the top section into the bottom section, where it slowly filled up. As the two got into position, GK said: “I have no words.”

The pair didn’t start off too great, and with time running out and 2 minutes left, GK finally conquered her fears and dived down to try to unlock one of the padlocks with a gold key she had. Unfortunately, though, she was only able to hold her breath for a short time.
As Ant and Dec counted down the seconds, Grace got spooked by an eel and screamed: “I’m done, I’m done!” Defeated with zero stars won, GK and Dean headed to camp empty-handed, with GK admitting: “I’m mortified to go back and tell them.”
Meanwhile, fans on X were quick to share their thoughts on Dean and GK failing the trial, with plenty thinking Dean could be the first to leave. One person said: “How long til he quits the entire show…” A second said: “Dean just needs to leave.” A third said: “He’s going to quit the trial I can feel it.”
