“Finally took the step to get my One Direction tattoo, but in the saddest way possible — for Liam Payne. I always imagined it would be a happier moment, not under these circumstances.
“I would’ve chosen a different time, a different reason, but now feels right. I’m proud I pushed through the pain and cost to honour Liam in this way. These tattoos will help me process my grief and keep his memory close.”

Fans admit feeling “devastated” by the star’s death
The tributes continued during Payne’s private funeral, held today at a church in Buckinghamshire. The service was attended by his former bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, marking their first public reunion since their final concert in 2015.
