Stephanie Tyler, jewellery expert at Purely Diamonds, has claimed that since Kate decided to ditch her original engagement ring it has caused a dramatic change up and down the country.
She told : “The Royal Family has always been influential when it comes to jewellery trends and I believe that eternity bands will become an option for brides and grooms-to-be in 2025, thanks to Princess Kate.
“The beauty of Kate’s new engagement ring style is that it still incorporates aspects of her original engagement ring, with the eternity band featuring both diamond and sapphire gemstones.”

Kate wore the eye-popping 12-carat oval-cut Ceylon blue sapphire on Remembrance Weekend. It is surrounded by 14 round-cut solitaire diamonds and set in 18-karat white gold.
The ring is believed to be worth between £300,000 to £400,000.
While her new style is estimated to be priced around £1,500 from Annoushka – this is considered a modest price tag for a piece of royal jewellery.
