Prince Harry stepped out in Canada on Monday
has issued two new statements regarding his latest appearances in Canada, where he was snapped without his wife .
The Duke of Sussex ahead of the game between the Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers early on Monday , a historic military facility in Vancouver, to launch an online programme to introduce the Invictus Games into schools.
They are the latest in a string of solo appearances by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as the couple appear to have adopted a different strategy when it comes to promoting their individual interests.
Following the events, Harry took to his and ‘s official website to release new statements regarding his appearances.
One statement noted that the prince took part in a symbolic jersey pass “that highlighted the growing momentum” for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.

It read: “The jersey pass not only marked the connection between the two iconic events but also served as a powerful reminder of the Games’ mission: to inspire, empower, and bring together athletes from around the world who have experienced life-changing injuries or illnesses.”
The statement continued: “[It] was a reminder that the journey toward the Games is not just about competition but about coming together as a global community to celebrate resilience, determination and the power of sport to heal and inspire.”
A second statement about the duke’s meeting with schoolchildren revealed that each of them would be handed tickets for themselves and a family member to attend the Invictus Games 2025 Opening Ceremonies.
The statement said: “As these students embark on their own learning journeys, they carry forward the message that the power of sport, recovery, and unity can change lives—and together, we can continue to build a more inclusive world for all.”

Each child will be given tickets for the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada
Harry, a former British Army captain, launched the Invictus Games in 2014 as an international sports tournament for injured and wounded service personnel and returned veterans.
The Winter Invictus Games 2025, which will be held in February in Vancouver and Whistler, will feature the debut of winter sports including Nordic Skiing, wheelchair curling, snowboarding and alpine skiing.
