Francesca Farago and Jesse Sullivan reveal their twins’ unique baby names

Francesca Farago and Jesse Sullivan chose one-of-a-kind names for their newborn twins.

The engaged couple welcomed a baby girl and boy on Nov. 11. Farago shared their unique names in an Instagram post over the weekend.

“Poetry Lucia & Locket Romance Sullivan🤍 our two little angels made a surprise appearance via emergency c section at 36 weeks and 5 days at 7:31 & 7:33AM on 11/11,” the social media influencer wrote, captioning a photo of the infants wearing gold ankle bracelets bearing their names.

Locket, the couple’s baby boy, weighed 5 pounds 10 ounces. Poetry, their baby girl, weighed 5 pounds 8 ounces.

“I’ve never been more in love but I’ve also never had more anxiety😅 they’re perfect😭🤍✨,” Farago continued her caption.

In a June 2024 interview with TODAY.com, Farago alluded to the special meaning behind the names of her children, which they had already selected.

“The names we do have picked mean a lot to us and represent certain parts of our relationship. One of the names is something that Jesse had given me for an important event we had in our lives, and we just turned it into a name, and it’s so beautiful,” she said.

After the 31-year-old announced the twins’ names on Instagram, her followers took to the comments section to share their well wishes and reactions, calling the names “precious,” “beautiful” and “unique.”

“The most magical names!!!!!” one commented. Another wrote, “So perfect.”

“I love their names. They are so beautiful. They are unconventional unique names but so is your relationship/family. The way you all come together with love and acceptance and understanding, just simply Beautiful!!!” another commented.

Colleen Slagen, a baby naming consultant who goes by the Instagram name of @namingbebe, also weighed in on the highly anticipated names in her own video.

“These are some Merriam-Webster names, like words in the English language that were just meant to be baby names,” she said. “They’re sophisticated, moody, gentle, familiar, unique. And they lend themselves to the cutest nicknames of Lock and Poe or Lock and Poet. I honestly can’t get over how good these names are.”

Slagen called the name Poetry “beautiful” and was particularly impressed with the name Farago and Sullivan chose for their son.

“Locket for a boy is the perfect combination of strong but you know he’s going to be a nice, gentle sensitive guy,” she said.

Sullivan, a trans man, gave birth to his son Arlo as a teenager. While chatting with TODAY.com over the summer, Farago revealed that Sullivan had been supportive throughout her pregnancy.

“If I feel something, I’m like, ‘Is that normal? Should my back hurt? Should my side hurt?’ And he’s like, ‘That’s normal. I felt that,’” she said.

After meeting Sullivan, Farago said she was excited to start a family.
