BBC Doctor Who icons unite with House of the Dragon star for brand new spin-off

enthusiasts, you’re in for a treat! Four legends from the television show have united for a new spin-off. Peter Davison will be reprising his role as the Fifth Doctor, lending his voice for a new audio series called The Fifth Doctor Adventures: Hooklight.

The audio series will be split into two parts, with the tales being told over 12 episodes. Peter will be joined by fellow show stars Janet Fielding (who played Tegan), Sarah Sutton (Nyssa) and Matthew Waterhouse (Adric), according to .

The series synopsis reads: “There is a light that must never be lit… When the TARDIS runs aground in the ancient realm of Morning, the Doctor learns that a powerful force has re-emerged. A lamp filled with a mythical substance known as Hooklight has been discovered – and this could mean the end of everything.

“A great quest begins against the forces of chaos, encompassing many new friends and foes. Without their ship and without each other, the time travellers will be tested on their journey to the Dark Forge. And not everyone will survive…”

Aside from the Doctor Who icons, star Kieran Bew will lend his voice to buccaneer pilot Davlin Crux, while Celia Imrie will be chronicler Doctor Kessica Myles. Written by Tom Foley, part one will be released in April 2025 and will consist of the first six episodes.
