What are these dining events about?
Its first dining event was held at Holts Café in Toronto, on Oct. 3, with others scheduled at Holts Café in Montreal and Vancouver throughout the month.
Guests are treated to a four-course dining experience, says Park. Food will be prepared using Monogram’s professional induction range, and fine wine will be paired with each course.
Canadian entertainment personality Tanya Kim will be hosting these events, and guests will also be treated to a mixology master class by Monogram’s in-house mixologist Orlando Carreira.
“Orlando will be curating a selection of signature cocktails that perfectly complement the culinary masterpieces crafted by Chef Patrick Kriss as well as the essence of each host city,” says Park.
Induction cooking is more sustainable
Monogram is known for its professional gas ranges, says Park. But, as in many other industries, there is a real shift in home appliances towards more sustainable and efficient fuels.
“Induction cooking is inherently more energy-efficient than traditional methods, providing rapid heat and precise control while minimizing energy waste. By harnessing electromagnetic energy, our range ensures that heat is directed precisely where it’s needed, resulting in quicker cooking times and reduced overall energy consumption,” says Park.
High-tech ovens
Monogram’s induction ovens are not only good to look at but also feature the latest tech. The Precision Oven Modes track the progress of your food, so time and temperature changes can be made easily for perfect results. There’s an LCD screen that swings out from the oven panel for easier control, the ovens have accent lighting, and 19 heat settings with glide touch controls, among other things, says Park.
“Using the SmartHQ app, Monogram consumers can access different food types, like steak, or cooking methods, such as sear, and their pan will automatically adjust to the precise degree for the perfect doneness each time,” says Park.
How did the partnership with Holt Renfrew and Kriss come about?
When it comes to potential partners, they look for those who share their values when it comes to craftsmanship, innovation, and luxury, says Park.
Holt Renfrew and Patrick Kriss are leaders in their respective fields and are known for their attention to detail, he says. “This collaboration allows us to enhance the luxury experience we offer to our customers, ensuring that every element of our appliances reflects the highest standards of performance and design.”
