Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have packed their schedules with appearances in key states with less than a month to go until Election Day.
Harris kicked off a media blitz over the weekend with an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast and will do more radio and television interviews through the week. Trump will make several appearances in Pennsylvania this week, and both candidates have town halls scheduled.
Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, and Trump’s pick, Sen. JD Vance (Ohio), will also appear in swing states this week.
Several key states are grappling with recovery efforts after the destruction of Hurricane Helene, with Hurricane Milton on its way toward Florida.

With Just 29 Days To Go, Here’s What The Candidates Are Up To This Week
Less than a month remains until the Nov. 5 election. With time dwindling, here’s where the candidates are campaigning:
Vice President Kamala Harris has embarked on a weeklong media tour, with appearances scheduled on “The View,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “The Howard Stern Show.” A pre-taped “60 Minutes” segment will air Monday night. Later this week Harris is scheduled to sit for a town hall hosted by Univision.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will visit Nevada and Arizona where he’ll meet with tribal leaders, and attend a veterans and military families event with Jim McCain, the son of former Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain. Early voting in Arizona begins Wednesday.
Walz’s contributions on the media blitz front include an interview with “Fox News Sunday” over the weekend and a late-night debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Monday night.
Former President Donald Trump and Sen. JD Vance (Ohio), meanwhile, are scheduled for four events across Pennsylvania and Michigan, while Vance will jet to Colorado on Tuesday for a private fundraiser with Republican megadonor Larry Mizel.
Trump’s Official Account Is The Biggest Political Ad Buyer On X
Democrats are vastly outspending Republicans on internet political ads on every major platform except for one — X, formerly known as Twitter, owned by Trump supporting-billionaire Elon Musk.
The biggest political ad buyer on X is Trump’s official account, according to an analysis by AdImpact and The Washington Post.
The difference shows how much the platform has changed since Musk bought it.
“Conservatives feel more comfortable being on X,” said a Republican digital strategist.
Islamic Religious Leaders Endorse Harris
A group of 25 imams endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president with an open letter, NBC News reported Sunday.
They urged Muslim voters to think carefully about the potential risks and harm involved with a decision. Choosing Harris “far outweighs the harms of the other options,” they wrote.
“Knowingly enabling someone like Donald Trump to return to office, whether by voting directly for him or for a third-party candidate, is both a moral and a strategic failure,” they wrote, pointing to his “well-documented history of harming our communities and country.”
The endorsement is a welcome boost for Harris as the Muslim community has been divided over whether to support her. Many groups point to the Biden administration’s support for Israel as a reason to not endorse or support third-party candidates.
