ITV viewers ‘switch off’ Boris Johnson’s clash with Tom Bradby over major flaw

viewers “switched off” from the highly anticipated Boris Johnson interview after slamming “terrible” host Tom Bradby.

The former PM joined the network for an intimate sit-down chat to promote his new book, Unleashed.

But just minutes into the interview, fans took to social media in droves to slam both Johnson’s answers and criticise Bradby’s interviewing technique.

“#ITV #Boris Had to turn off. Can’t stand interviews where the interviewer doesn’t let the interviewee speak. What’s the point of inviting them on,” asked one livid fan.

“Tom Bradby is a terrible interviewer..why was he chosen to do this?…he hates and will never be impartial! Plus he never lets anyone speak..shut up Tom!” penned a second.

A third dubbed Bradby a “rubbish journalist” penning: “He’s a rubbish journalist. Not point asking a question without looking letting someone answer,” and “I’ve turned off for that reason, he’s passive aggressive and not letting him answer.”

Another went as far as to encourage Boris to “walk out” of the interview.

“If I was I’d tell @tombradby to f*** off and then walk out. Bradby is ignorant, and as usual more interested in the sound of his own voice.”

Accusations of bias continued to fly.

“Just watching the Boris interview on ITV. Surprised he hasn’t walked out. I knew ITV was biased but didn’t realize how much. Disgusting.”

But it didn’t stop there. Fans further went on to say “appalling” Bradbury was “spouting nonsense” and accused him of “talking over” Boris and being “rude”.

“Bradby is absolutely appalling! He keeps interrupting Boris and when Boris interrupts him, he gets mad and says ‘Let me speak’ Plus he’s spouting absolute nonsense and being so blatantly biased against him. He doesn’t know how to interview properly!” blasted the irate fan.

“What is it with ITV interviewers that they ask a question but then don’t let the interviewees answer, Tom Bradby was so rude talking over this evening,” another added to the pile-on.

Many viewers also slammed Johnson for his answers, dubbing it an “embarrassment to the nation” and calling his actions “beyond contempt”.

The fan spewed: “, the interview. What an absolute f’in embarrassment that ‘man’ is to this nation. An utter piece of sh*t trying to blame everyone else for his and his government’s actions. Absolutely beyond contempt.”

Others, however, praised the interview.

“Tom – YOU ARE BRILLIANT!” one fan gushed. A second said: “Great interview Tom, bring back Boris,” and “Well done Tom… that’s was a brilliant interview.”
