Strictly’s Nick Knowles breaks silence after pulling out of live show due to injury

has said that he is “absolutely gutted” and “feeling very sad” after it was revealed that he had to pull out of tomorrow’s live show on .

The TV star sustained an injury during rehearsals and it has since been confirmed that Nick cannot perform on Saturday night alongside his partner, Luba.

The 62-year-old is thought to have landed awkwardly from a jump and is now relying on crutch. Nick and Luba were due to perform a Charleston to Rain on the Roof from Paddington 2.

A source told : “It is such a devastating blow for him and he is being supported by the Strictly team. They are sending him for scans and are doing everything they can to make sure he is okay.

“Nick had to fight to make sure he could take part in the first live show after hurting his arm and shoulder and he did so well. This new injury has been a real blow and he is incredibly upset about it.”

It comes after Nick was signed off by doctors last week following an anxious wait to be declared fit to dance. He injured his shoulder last week after changing a tyre on his Range Rover.

After being given the green light, Nick just had two days to practice his American Smooth routine to ‘s Parklife last Saturday.

Speaking of his relief at the time, Nick said to his fans on : “We’ve had an interesting couple of days, full of scans and physios and people helping me. Everyone’s been amazing.

“Thank you for all your messages of support. We will see you all on Saturday where we’ll be dancing the American Smooth to ‘Park Life’ by Blur.”
