Wigs
In 2018, Stacey introduced her followers to ‘Suze’ – her reliable wig that she uses to hide her ‘long, grown-out roots and frizz’ during TV appearances and romantic evenings with husband Joe Swash.
In a video shared on , Stacey can be seen in the bath with ‘Suze’ draped over her knee, creating an unusual faceless appearance.
In a video titled ‘wig dramas’, Stacey Solomon revealed: “I thought my wig needs a wash and I thought, I’d bring her in the bath with me. But I’m totally weirded out right now, because my knee looks like a person without a face.”
Many of her fans were baffled by her video, wondering why the starlet needed a wig. Weeks later, the blonde beauty penned a piece to The Sun, revealing that she had spent £1,000 on her reliable wig, which she claimed was worth ever penny.
Don’t miss… [REACTION]
At just 29 years old, she explained that ‘years of bleaching, tonging, blow-drying and straightening’ had damaged her natural hair beyond repair. Stacey, who confessed that Suze had been her ‘secret companion on Loose Women’, penned: “People always warned me not to dye my hair too much or use too much heat but I ignored their advice.
“I always wanted to go blonder, straighter, slicker. The result? Wiry, broken strands and a psoriasis-ridden scalp. Stress causes flare-ups and it’s so damn itchy. The only way I can get my natural hair back is to stop styling it, but that’s impossible.
“My roots are 50 per cent ash brown, 50 per cent grey. I’m in my late 20s and it’s so depressing. I don’t want to look really old. My ends are bleached within an inch of their lives so I look like I have zebra hair that fades into yellow noodles. Also, I have very thick coarse Jwish hair so washing and leaving it is not an option.”
Stacey Solomon admitted her teeth are crumbling
Crumbling teeth
Stacey revealed that after reaching adulthood without a single filling, her dental health took a downturn when she became pregnant with her second son Leighton in 2012.
The mother-of-five’s once pristine teeth deteriorated, turning yellow and brown, making the act of breathing even uncomfortable. Speaking to Fabulous, Stacey disclosed: “I couldn’t eat anything too hot or cold because it was excruciating and even breathing in cold air through my mouth was agony. “
She described how the severe discomfort during her second pregnancy affected her typically jovial demeanour. She went on:”If it was cold outside, which is 99.9 per cent of the time in England, I couldn’t even talk when I was outside, they were so sensitive.
“Whatever was going on with me decided to settle around four months into my pregnancy, but I was left with brown, decayed teeth and, for the first time ever, I felt really down about my smile.”

Smoking battle
Stacey has opened up about previous difficulties in quitting smoking, emphasizing her sensitive nature and how negative perceptions affect her deeply.
In an interview with New! Magazine, a source highlighted, “Stacey is a sensitive person and she will be upset if anyone is thinking of her in a negative way. She’s had a lot of stick in the past about smoking and she finds it difficult. The comments can be hurtful.”
The popular TV personality also candidly spoke about her struggles with smoking cessation during pregnancy on This Morning in 2012. Despite reducing her habit significantly, Stacey admitted that giving up completely was challenging.
Stacey came under fire while she was pregnant
Sharing her ordeal, Stacey said: “At the end of the day, nothing that I can say makes it right. All I can say is that from the day I found out that I was pregnant, I have tried my best to give up.
“I completely understand why people would be angry, because for some people it’s incomprehensible. As soon as you get pregnant, you think you need to stop.
“I did smoke between five and 10 a day, but I completely cut down and from there on I have been trying to stop. I’m smoking between one and three a day, if that… I just thought I would be able to quit.
“And some days I’ve done really, really well and had none but there are some days when I have had some. I’m doing my best to just go without, but sometimes it’s not just as easy to cut it out.”
