“Nerve-racking,” Sherrock replied, when asked by host Wayne Mardle about what receiving the honour was like on his YouTube channel. “I remember getting there and just feeling so nervous about it, because I didn’t know what to say, didn’t know what to do. My feet were killing me from wearing heels all day. We were walking miles – I should have worn comfier shoes!”

Sherrock then came clean about the slight embarrassment she suffered during her interaction with the Prince of Wales, after questioning his jargon.

“I think I was more worried about embarrassing myself,” added Sherrock. “Because I know you have like a little chat. I just didn’t wanna say anything stupid. But I kind of did a little bit. I didn’t mean to – to William.

“He said obviously that he watches darts on the television, and I literally turned around – so stupid – I turned around: ‘What on the TV?’ Like, really stupid – and he kind of looked at me and was like: ‘Yes, the television.’ He just looked at me plain, like, did you just say TV? I was shaking and just like: ‘Hi.’”

Sherrock also revealed the order of the day when such an honour is bestowed and some of the rules that recipients are expected to abide by.

“You’re there, and you sit in a room, waiting, and you can venture around the castle, have a look around, and all that,” said Sherrock. “Then you go sit in another room, and they tell you what you’ve got to do before you meet.

“Because you’ve got to get to one place and another place, and you’re not allowed to turn your back on them and all of that, but it’s like 30 seconds.”
