has hinted at a disturbing new plot for Kit Green, played by Jacob Roberts, which could spell trouble for Billy Mayhew.
Kit, the corrupt police officer who arrived on the scene this year as Bernie’s (Jane Hazlegrove) long-lost son, has been causing quite a stir.
Bernie, a soap favourite, gave up Christopher ‘Kit’ Green for adoption nearly three decades ago and managed to locate him just a few months back. This revelation left Bernie’s twins Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Paul (Peter Ash) shocked to discover they had another sibling.
Moreover, Kit was instrumental in getting Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper), a vile character, imprisoned for the murder of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). He planted Lauren’s DNA in paedophile Nathan’s van, framing him for the crime.
Since then, Kit has become a regular face on the cobbles, stirring up plenty of drama. Not only did he force soap legend Beth Tinker (Lisa George) to leave the street, but he also played a role in the split between Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) and Daisy (Charlotte Jordan).

However, viewers have now speculated about Kit’s next move. In recent episodes, his brother Paul’s funeral took place after his struggle with MND, reports .
Before attending the funeral, Kit was met by his colleague DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers). She informed him that his fellow officers had collected some money for him to donate to an MND charity.
Kit was delighted to receive the envelope full of cash, which he promptly tucked into his jacket. However, suspicious viewers raised eyebrows as the envelope full of cash seemed to vanish during the recent episode.
