Fans of Channel 5’s hit show, All Creatures Great and Small couldn’t get enough of the wholesome programme as a much-loved character returned.
On Thursday night’s show (October 3), baby Jimmy’s Christening took precedence as they were determined to make it a special day. But before the focus remained on Jimmy and other veterinary matters, fans of the show were left jumping for joy as Tristan made a return after serving in the Army.
Reuniting with family member Siegfried, fans were touched by the emotional scenes as they met each other on the platform and hugged. Heading straight over to X formerly known as Twitter, fans shared their thoughts on Tristan’s comeback.
One viewer said: “A perfect episode, just a wonderful hour of tv thank you all.”
Another penned: “The hug. That’s worth a thousand words. Lovely to see Tristran back where he belongs. How long before Siegfried starts nagging him?”

A third said: “Another cracking episode @AllCreaturesTV. My only wish is there were twice as many episodes per series. Here’s hoping #ACGAS runs for many, many years to come.”
A fourth added: “All of us watching when Siegfried and Tristan hugged after finally being reunited.”
Another spectator also mentioned: “For all his bluster Siegfried has never stopped worrying about Tristram. While he’s thrilled he’s coming home, his imagination is doing gymnastics as to why his little brother is coming back to Darrowby.”
