Lana Del Rey called out “a local couple” she said wouldn’t stop snapping photos of her and her new husband while they were on their honeymoon in Louisiana.

“Unfortunately, a local couple from Houma won’t stop flying drones into our windows every morning and following us with a tracker,” she wrote Wednesday in the comments section of an Instagram fan account that published candid footage of the couple.

Del Rey said that if the “famous New Orleans paparazzi” duo “could stop switching vehicles following the family” and “following us around remote parts of the country and photo shopping my wedding ring into a pearl,” that she “would feel a lot safer.”

The “Young and Beautiful” singer tied the knot with Louisiana airboat captain Jeremy Dufrene last Thursday.

People reported that the wedding ceremony was held by the Des Allemands bayou where Dufrene works as an alligator tour guide and came mere days after it was reported that the couple had obtained a marriage license for their backyard nuptials.

British tabloid The Daily Mail published drone shots of the wedding itself.

“All that being said Jeremy is the one and only,” Del Rey wrote. “And amazing. And we’re very happy.”

The two were first romantically linked in August but have seemingly known each other since at least 2019, when Del Rey shared a Facebook post containing a selfie of the two and a cheeky caption: “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x.”

While she seemed to deny rumors she was dating Dufrene as recently as December (and commented simply “No” on an Instagram post suggesting she was), the Grammy nominee is now doing her best, drones be damned, to enjoy life with her new husband.
