icon Vincent Simone has teased a return to the BBC show as he threatened that he would “wipe the floor” with the younger professionals. He claimed that himself and other fellow former pros “can show the Strictly kids how it’s done”.
Speaking to , Vincent said: “We’re no spring chickens, but dance legends like me, , James Jordan, Ian Waite and Pasha Kovalev can give these young dancers a real run for their money! We could wipe the floor with them on the dancefloor, because dancing is a skill that, in my opinion, improves with experience. We can show the kids how it’s done.”
The dancer continued: ” We have qualities that money can’t buy. We’re amazing performers, fully skilled. Technically, we understand everything about dancing.
“No disrespect to the dancers on the show, everyone on it is so gorgeous, but our dancing is on another level completely. We’ve been rehearsing for our legends tour and are at the top of our game.”
Vincent left the much-loved dance show back in 2012, as he admitted that it was “his decision” to call it quits. Speaking exclusively with Express.co.uk, Vincent .

At the time, he said: “You know, I’ve done it for seven years and it’s really hard work, but going back to perform anytime, going back as judge eventually. I would love to do that. I would still like to be involved in the show some how.”
Hinting at a huge comeback, the dancer added that the producers just needed to pick up the phone, saying: “Would we be ready to return to the Strictly dancefloor?
“Absolutely, and I think the fans would love it! We’re ready to come and make a cameo on the show – the producers just need to give us a call.”

Vincent recently at Strictly judge Anton Du Beke. Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Vincent said to co-star Ian Waite: “We do have something that none of the other Strictly pros have – the size.
“You’re the biggest ever and I’m the smallest ever. Ian laughed: “Well it has been said before.”
They then took the opportunity to take a swipe at the show’s judge. “Well, we can never be the oldest Vince, that’s Anton Du Beke,” Ian said. Not to be outdone, Vincent cheekily enquired: “Is he still alive?”
