Four assassins executed a man on the beach.
Horrified tourists fled for their lives after four armed assassins allegedly carried out an execution on the beach outside of their luxury five-star hotel in Cancun.
The victim has been identified as a 30-year-old Mexican national. According to local reports he was gunned down by multiple shots outside of The Riu Caribe Hotel.
Two of the alleged assassins were said to have escaped on jet skis while the other two fled on foot. The victim was reportedly in charge of the jet skis.
A Marina boat set off in search of the jet skis following the incident, local news outlet reports.
Footage shows the guests of the £716-a-night ($1,000) huddling in the lobby as they wait official instruction.

Others were seen sheltering inside the resort, screaming and calling loved ones. Law enforcement are exploring the possibility that this homicide could be related to drug trafficking and cartel-related crimes.
In a statement on Wednesday, the hotel where the incident took place clarified that the dead man was not a hotel guest, or an employee of the hotel.
Police are yet to indentify the deceased man.
The affected area was taped off by law enforcement while they collected evidence and the body was removed.
One of the four alleged gunmen reportedly bolted after shots were fired and ran through the beach area of Dreams Hotel, which neighbours The Riu Caribe.
According to he was wearing dark Bermuda shorts and a black shirt.
