Mick Schumacher, son of the legendary Michael Schumacher, is now reportedly engaged to model Laila Hasanovic – who is now set to join the renowned family. The have maintained a strong sense of privacy since seven-time F1 world champion Michael suffered life-altering injuries in a skiing accident in December 2013.
He was temporarily placed into an induced coma before returning home the following September, but updates on his condition have been sparse. It was recently reported that the F1 icon made his first public appearance in 11 years at his daughter Gina-Marie’s wedding to Iain Bethke, held at the ‘ mansion in Majorca.

Who is Laila Hasanovic?
Born in Bosnia, 24-year-old Hasanovic moved to Denmark as a child and was raised in a small Danish town. She spent a year in Kentucky as an exchange student before relocating to Copenhagen at the age of 19.
By the time she moved to the capital, Hasanovic had already been modelling for three years, having landed her first campaign with a watch brand. The model, boasting over 300k followers on , splits her time between the streets of Copenhagen and the serene mountains of Switzerland. She dazzled as a finalist in Miss Universe Denmark 2019, breaking into the top 10 with ease.
Before her current romance captured hearts, Hasanovic was linked to football star Jonas Wind, known for his performances with Wolfsburg and the Danish national team. As a prominent figure in the glamour of motorsport events, Hasanovic has been seen supporting Schumacher – though she confesses driving isn’t her cup of tea.
“I got my driver license when I was 17, and ever since then, I have never been comfortable with driving a car,” Hasanovic expressed to her fans. “I always try to practice as much as I can, I just don’t enjoy it that much.”

According to German media outlet Bild, the Schumacher clan is utterly charmed by Hasanovic. The model was seen in pictures with Mick’s mother, Corinna, at the FIA World Endurance Championship in Qatar this March, showing ties are strong as Mick raced comfortably around the track.
