was hailed by one of her old pals for her “unconditional love”, just days after claims emerged about her alleged behaviour towards staff.
The Duchess of Sussex was hit the previous month after reports in the US dubbed her “Duchess Difficult” and claimed that and her “belittling” behaviour towards them.
Now author and TV producer Lindsay Jill Roth has over 24 years in a new interview while promoting her new book Romances & Practicalities: A Love Story (Maybe Yours!) in 250 Questions – to be released in January.
Ms Roth and Meghan met during their freshman year at Northwestern University when they both joined a literature class.
The duchess when she graduated with a double major in theatre and international studies.

Meghan has maintained a close relationship with Lindsay over the years and was even her maid of honour for her wedding in 2016.
The author told that she’s included a heartfelt message for Meghan in her new book’s acknowledgements.
She said: “She hasn’t read her acknowledgement yet. I have saved that as a little token for her to see when the book comes out.”
Ms Roth went on to praise the duchess, adding: “I think it’s rare to find friends who love you unconditionally, and I’ve been lucky in my life to have a few who I truly consider family. It’s almost like those words aren’t enough.”
She also mentioned , who, alongside her husband, Gavid Jordan, another Brit, she described as “wonderful.”
The author said: “I often get asked, ‘Is it really special that you both married Brits?’ What I always say is, ‘It’s special that we both married such wonderful people.'”

It comes The Reporter, published a scathing report last month citing a current senior staffer who alleged that Meghan acts like a “dictator in high heels” and that colleagues are “terrified” of her and her “belittling” behaviour towards them, while also dubbing her “Duchess Difficult”.
The report was followed by Us Weekly’s cover story which in turn cited various named and anonymous current and former employees of the Sussex couple who rushed to Meghan’s defence and praised her for her “kindness”, shorty before new claims were published by the Daily Beast, which alleged that Meghan made people “feel like s**t”.
has declined to comment on the new reports.
The latest claims follow previous bullying allegations which were made against the Duchess back in 2018, which she has long and vehemently denied.
